Floors: In similar tones, for design consistency, the floor tiling creates a cohesive, minimalist base that perfectly unifies the open-plan areas of the villa.
Baths designed by us, defined by our timeless materials. Guest Bath: Stone-textured tiles with unique veining (60x120), in a dynamic combination with Matte Black sanitary ware and accessories. Master Bath: A unique composition featuring matte marble-effect tiles (120x120), sanitary ware in Gold Brushed and Matte White finishes, and a large-scale mirror that stands out.
Santorini Resort – Micro-Pebble Pool Finishes NOŪS Santorini is the first resort by YES! Hotels—and its largest project to date. Located in Mesaria, the property redefines luxury resort living with a focus on space, privacy, and immersive art. Built for the discerning traveler, it balances Cycladic minimalism with bold contemporary design. We handled the complete pool surface system across the property, including the main pool spanning over 1 200 m², multiple smaller pools, and jacuzzis. Our process involved: Cement-based surface leveling for a flawless structural base. Waterproofing using our proprietary, crack-resistant method. Micro-pebble installation, carried out with attention to texture, flow, and continuity across surfaces. The result is a seamless, high-performance pool finish that complements the architecture — and holds up to the expectations of a top-tier hospitality environment.
Urban serenity meets high aesthetic standards at the Grid Hotel Athens, located at 81 Aiolou Street in the historic center of the city. Transforming a former office building into a modern four-star hospitality destination—complete with 28 guestrooms, suites with private jacuzzis, conference facilities, and a rooftop lounge—the project balances clean geometrical lines with tactile material warmth. As a dedicated Project Partner, we supplied curated, high-performance porcelain tiles sourced from top European manufacturers, perfectly complementing the natural wood, exposed concrete, and warm textiles designed to enhance the building's generous natural light and spatial clarity. Villa Eliopetra, a refined private villa nestled in the traditional village of Monastiraki, surrounded by olive groves, mountain landscapes, and the endless blue of southern Crete. For this project we chose to frame the entire property with a single stone effect tile. From that one material we achieved to get the, desired water color for the pool, the continuity across all spaces of the villa and the required tactile feeling & visual result everywhere needed, embracing the tranquility of the retreat. The spaces are completed with sanitary ware, in gloss white and chrome finishes, based on the simplicity a serene hospitality project needs. All materials carefully selected and spaces designed to serve the aesthetics and needs of the client, as always.

Renovation of two swimming pools with a combined surface of over 1,000 sqm, completed using micro-pebble across both interior and surrounding areas. The first pool features a clean white micro-pebble finish applied across a highly curved geometry. The second pool integrates a 35-meter beach-entry zone, with continuous steps and flowing transitions, requiring precise detailing throughout. The material was applied to ensure long-term durability and consistent performance in a high-use resort environment. The project was delivered ahead of schedule, reflecting DKD’s experience in large-scale pool applications and complex surface conditions.

For the fluid, sweeping pool outlines and winding water pathways, we sourced high-performance porcelain surfaces with certified anti-slip engineering, ensuring maximum pedestrian safety while maintaining a sophisticated, natural stone texture that complements the Mediterranean landscape. To unify the expansive sunbathing decks and interactive splash zones, our team specified large-format porcelain slabs in refined, sandy tones. These premium surfaces minimize grout lines for an uninterrupted, monolithic aesthetic, while successfully resisting intense UV exposure, thermal shock, and pool chemicals.
